From the very beginning, she went above and beyond for our Tiny Tots soccer team. Her family-friendly pricing made professional team photos possible for our families, and that alone was incredibly appreciated. But what truly set her apart was the experience she created.

Because of the weather, we had to reschedule our photo day three different times. Every single time, she was kind, flexible, and incredibly understanding. She didn't just wait for us to figure things out, she proactively reached out with backup plans and made the entire process completely stress-free. Her communication was exceptional from start to finish.

On picture day, she was absolute magic with the kids. She photographed 19 children under the age of three in under an hour, plus three team photos. If you've ever tried to get even one toddler to sit still, you'll understand what an incredible accomplishment that is! Somehow, she managed to get nearly every child smiling, laughing, and looking at the camera.

She never stopped taking photos, constantly capturing moments to make sure every family had the best possible images. She was endlessly patient with parents who were chasing little ones, adjusting outfits, or trying to convince toddlers to stay in one place for just a few more seconds. Not once did she make anyone feel rushed. Instead, she kept reassuring everyone, "I'm in no rush. Don't worry, I’m here for you."

What impressed me most was how she embraced each child's personality instead of trying to force a perfect pose. One little one wanted to sit in the soccer net—she made it work. Another wanted to stand on the bench—she captured a beautiful photo there. One child insisted on holding a stick, and she photographed them in a way that kept the focus on the child while respecting what made them comfortable. If a child needed multiple attempts, she happily took the time without hesitation.

She treated every child with kindness, patience, and genuine enthusiasm, making sure they had wonderful memories from their very first soccer season. As a parent of a young child, I can honestly say that patience is the single most important quality in a photographer, and she has it in abundance.

Thank you for going above and beyond for our team. I truly can't thank you enough, and I already can't wait to see the finished photos. If you're looking for a photographer, especially for families or young children, I would recommend her in a heartbeat!

The first time we did an outdoor session with our newborn & his grandparents + aunt, and the second session was done at home with just us & our boy. Both could not have gone better. Merissa is amazing for ensuring everyone feels comfortable and catering to the needs of those being photographed to ensure all goes smoothly throughout the session (letting our newborn be the little dictator he is lol). I cannot say enough great things about Merissa and her great eye for capturing such special moments.
