Terms and Conditions

Welcome to PhotoMill Photography! By booking a session, you agree to the following simple terms designed to ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for everyone.

 

1. Booking & Payments

  • Retainer Deposit: A 50% deposit of your total quote is required to lock in your photoshoot date.

  • Final Payment: The remaining balance is due 24 hours prior to your scheduled shoot day.

  • Payment Methods: Payments can be made via e-Transfer or credit card.

 

2. Rescheduling & Weather Policy

  • Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule due to illness or an unexpected emergency, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice. Your deposit will be transferred to a newly agreed-upon date.

  • Northern Ontario Weather: For outdoor sessions across North Bay and surrounding areas, weather can be unpredictable. If bad weather (heavy rain, extreme storms) poses a threat to safety or equipment, we will reschedule at no extra cost or pivot to an in-home/mobile studio session where applicable.

 

3. Arrival & Session Time

  • Please arrive on time! Because outdoor natural light (like golden hour) changes quickly, late arrivals may result in reduced shooting time.

 

4. Copyright & Image Usage

  • Personal Use: Clients receive full personal printing and sharing rights to all delivered high-resolution images. You are free to print, share, and post your photos for personal use.

  • Commercial Restrictions: Delivered photos are for personal use only and cannot be sold, licensed, or submitted to third parties for commercial use without prior written consent.

  • Photographer Usage: As the photographer, PhotoMill Photography retains creative copyright and reserves the right to use select photos for portfolio displays, website galleries, social media, and marketing unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing prior to your session.

 

5. Final Delivery

  • High-resolution, fully edited digital image galleries are delivered within 2 to 3 weeks of your shoot date (or as specified in your custom project agreement).

  • Raw, unedited files are not provided to ensure quality and brand integrity.
